Job Overview

Hacktechmedia is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Analyst with a strong interest in Off-Page SEO. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals who want to build a solid foundation in link building, local SEO, and organic growth strategies. Basic on-page SEO knowledge is expected, but the primary focus will be on off-page execution and backlink management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–2 years of hands-on experience or internship experience in SEO

• Strong understanding of off-page SEO techniques

• Basic knowledge of on-page SEO fundamentals

• Familiarity with SEO tools such as:

  • Google Analytics (GA-4)

  • Google Search Console

  • SEMrush / Ahrefs / Moz (basic level acceptable)

• Understanding of white-hat SEO practices

• Good communication and reporting skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Strong interest and exposure to local SEO

Key Responsibilities

On-Page SEO (Supportive Role)

• Basic on-page optimization (meta tags, headings, internal linking)

• Assist with keyword research and keyword mapping

• Optimize pages for target keywords

• Blog writing and content optimization

• Google Business Profile optimization and regular posting

Off-Page SEO (Primary Focus)

• Execute and manage off-page SEO activities including:

  • Keyword-based Social Bookmarking

  • Directory Submissions

  • Web 2.0 Blogs & Web 2.0 Bookmarking

  • Guest Posting & Guest Post Bookmarking

  • Micro-blogging (e.g., Tumblr, Medium)

  • Social media sharing (Reddit, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)

  • Article Submission & Article Bookmarking

  • Local Citations

  • Q&A participation (Quora, forums) and link outreach

  • Classified ad posting on relevant platforms

• Identify relevant websites for backlink opportunities

• Monitor backlink profiles to ensure quality and relevance

• Disavow harmful or low-quality backlinks when required

• Track and analyze backlinks using SEO tools

• Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and off-page SEO best practices

Nice to Have

• Internship or project experience in SEO or digital marketing

• Exposure to working on multiple websites or client projects

• Familiarity with citation platforms and classified websites
